Edves is pleased to announce a partnership with the University of Colorado Boulder's PhET Interactive Simulations to make STEM- Science, technology, Engineering and Mathematics laboratory activities fantastic and engaging.

The PhET Interactive Simulations is based on considerable education research with the sole aim of meeting worldwide learning objectives in Science and Mathematics.  It is a supplement instructional mode for pupils of various ages, from elementary school to upper-level education, with the assistance of a Teacher or guardian. This efficient learning mode simultaneously leverages a variety of intelligence.

PhET Interactive Simulations mode of redefining learning

Apart from learning from anywhere, these simulations enable students to interact with processes in science that would not normally be possible in just the classroom scenario thereby, inspiring curiosity and building a love for science and math. It also includes science models, math games, math puzzles and more which is also effective for continuous learning within the class, small group labs, or for individual homework. PhET simulations can easily be incorporated into any section of a STEM course including physics, biology, chemistry, earth science, and math. Teachers can also submit their activities to be used on the website and PhET provides guidelines for these submissions.

These simulations are developed based on research and lots of validation to ensure that it matches each student at their level and learning style through the concepts of the following: logical data collection graphics and intuitive controls (like click and drag, sliders and radio buttons) to animate what would normally not be visible. Auditory and visual learning, without noises and (in-progress) text-to-speech; interpersonal or Intrapersonal (through quiet time reflection and exploration) process. The website also offers worksheets, homework, syllabus and lesson plan ideas using the simulations provided.

Most exciting is that the simulations are available in many different languages and it is available to you when you book a demo or contact us.
