As part of Edves’ commitment to creating efficient school processes, we are offering a 'School Now, Pay Later' program that allows parents of subscribed schools to access loans to pay their children’s fees.

Our recent partnership with one of Nigeria’s fintech companies ensures that schools subscribed to Edves are never unable to meet their operational obligations as a result of parents' failure to pay fees on time. The School Now Pay Later program is also aimed at addressing the financial challenges that many Nigerian families face when it comes to paying for their children's education, especially for families with multiple children in school. 

Schools signed up to the program will get credited with 100% of the fees upfront when a parent makes a loan request, while the parent can spread the loan repayment in four installments over a 3 month period.

To use the School Now Pay Later program, parents of subscribed schools simply need to login to their portal and provide the necessary information needed to verify their identity and credit worthiness. They can use the funds to pay for their children's education fees, including tuition, books, and other necessary expenses. The loan can be repaid over time, making it easy for parents to manage their finances and ensure that their children receive the education they need.

Once approved for a loan, the school gets the funds directly and is not involved in the relationship between the parent and our lending partner.  

The School Now Pay Later program is not only beneficial for families, but also for schools. By allowing schools to receive their tuition payments on a timely and regular basis, the program helps to stabilize their cash flow and allows them to plan their budgets more effectively.
